How I started creating the life I want..

How I started creating the life I want..

So in my last blog post I was talking about the struggles as a single mum and how I’ve managed to carry me and Xaya through life abundantly and happily. Don’t get me wrong the first years of her life were a struggle.

Manifesting your dream life as a busy parent can seem like a lofty goal, especially when juggling school runs, work commitments, and household responsibilities. However, with the right mindset, techniques, and daily practices, it’s entirely possible to align with the life you desire while maintaining balance as a parent. The key is to understand we were born creators, we just need to tap into the space in between the thoughts – that is pure consciousness.

The first step in manifesting your dream life is to gain clarity on what that life looks like. Busy parents often find themselves in survival mode, focusing on immediate needs rather than long-term desires. Take some time, even if it's just 10 minutes a day, to write down or visualize what your ideal life looks like. What are the things that matter most to you? Is it financial freedom, more quality time with your family, better health, or personal fulfilment? Having a clear vision helps you focus your energy. It also serves as a reminder of what you're working toward when daily life feels overwhelming. Don't just think about material things—consider how you want to feel. Peaceful? Fulfilled? Energized? When we realise that we are looking externally for all the answers we will come to understand that the power was always within – we just needed to quieten down the noise around us.

As a parent, you may not always have the luxury of long stretches of uninterrupted time to work on your dreams. Instead of seeing this as a limitation, break your big dreams into smaller, actionable steps. For example, if your dream is to start a side business, begin by dedicating 20 minutes a day to research, planning, or skill development. I would utilise Xaya’s naps and bedtimes to fit in work I needed to do, but I had to understand that we must balance our feminine and masculine parts of ourselves. Our feminine is to receive and masculine is to do. We must set a goal, work towards it but allow ourselves to receive what is our birthright. Abundance.

One of the most powerful tools in manifestation is gratitude. As a busy parent, it's easy to focus on what's lacking—whether it's time, energy, or resources. We have occurred many limiting beliefs since our childhood which truly shapes our future. Our reality external to us is purely made on our internal reality – a reflection on how you view yourself, but this isn’t always our fault, the programming has stemmed from caregivers, external influences and more. It’s down to us to rewire these beliefs.

Shifting your focus to what you already have helps you attract more abundance. By being thankful for your children, family, and the opportunities you do have, you're raising your vibration and aligning with a mindset of abundance. Make it a habit to practice gratitude daily. You can do this super easily each morning – I write down 5 things I’m grateful for when Xaya is asleep still and it gives me a huge chunk of hope in the morning – and for me, to find hope in a life that’s been tough has been extremely difficult. Just know that you are worthy of having the life you desire, it's YOUR birthright…
